Rainbows are known for their colourful properties and elusive pots of gold, but they rarely work as a wet-look headpiece. Dress up for the theatre with today’s Groupon: £32 plus booking fee for a top price seat at the London Palladium to see The Wizard of Oz.
Synopsis
Following the yellow brick road, Dorothy, with Toto barking at her ruby-slippered heels, must go to Oz to meet the Wizard so she can get back home. Joined by the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion along the way, the group also have to watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West and her winged-monkey minions.
About The Event
Clicking his production heels, Andrew Lloyd Webber has reworked this bewitching tale into an enchanting new stage production. Adapted from the all-time classic film to include new melodies written by Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, the show also revels in the much-loved original songs and dazzling costumes, performed on a rotating set that affords everyone a view of the lavish special effects. Favourite characters dance their way on to the stage, with Des O’Connor stepping into the role of the Wizard to create a musical spectacular for all the family.
