Easter Eggscursion!

Take part in our Easter egg hunt over the holidays to win yourself a Museum badge. Eggs have been hidden amongst the exhibits in our Time Tunnel.  Download the activity sheet from our website and spot the eggs as you explore the exhibits. Children are also invited take part in a competition to design your own 2013 inspired egg. The winner will receive a beautiful Robert Opie Scrapbook

25 Years of Comic Relief

We are celebrating 25 years of Red Nose Day with a feature of Comic Relief exhibits past and present. Mel Giedroyc from comedy duo 'Mel and Sue', opened the exhibit with Museum Founder Robert Opie. Our display includes special edition packs from Kodac Film (1993), Covent Garden Soup (2001) and Mr Kipling (2003). It is on display at the Museum of Brands till the end of June.

New Handling Collection

We have created a new ‘Chocolate Packaging Collection’ for handling activities during our taught sessions. Featuring a 1950s Dairy Box as well as the iconic Fry’s Five Boys poster, the handling collection has been specially compiled to link with one of the IPC’s milepost themes: Chocolate. The Museum also features hundreds of different chocolate brands, packaging and advertisements throughout the Time Tunnel. To book a KS2 or EYFS session email or phone 020 7908 0888

Venue Hire Spring / Summer

Here at the Museum of Brands we have been busy sourcing exciting suppliers to make yourevent extra special. For spring/summer '13 we have great new lunch menus from Bubble Food, plus a fantastic selection of canapés from gluten free specialists Wild Thexton. Fancy something different? New GCSE worksheets available

We are proud to announce the launch of four exciting new worksheets for GCSE students:Graphic ProductsArt & DesignGraphic Communications (Art & Design endorsement) and Manufacturing. The worksheets have been designed with GCSE specifications in mind and are for use during schools visits to the Museum. All worksheets can be downloaded from our website. Visitors are contributing to topical discussions via touch screens in the Museum. Now you can join the conversation online, on subjects such as plain cigarette packaging, ‘Britishness’ of brandssustainable packaging and what ‘brand’ means to you.  We are working with University College London’s Centre for Digital HumanitiesCentre for Advanced Spatial Analysis and UCL Museums to trial the innovative QRator software.
