Design Museum

The Design Museum’s annualDesigners in Residence programme provides a platform to celebrate new and emerging designers at an early stage in their career. The programme is now in its sixth year and is a core part of the exhibition programme demonstrating the Design Museum’s commitment to support and encourage new design talent.
This year's residents are:
ADAM NATHANIEL FURMAN | Adam will explore the notion of identity and culture through writing, film and objects.
EUNHEE JO | During her residency, Jo will develop new surfaces made of fabric or paper which will be embedded with technology, offering new possible encounters with what we regard as everyday items and in doing so creating new aesthetic possibilities.
CHLOE MEINECK | Chloe will develop a memory box to be used by people suffering with dementia or memory loss.
THOMAS THWAITES | Thomas will examine how collating personal information from the internet can, as well as boosting consumer knowledge, be used to inform people about themselves and their own identity.
Designers in Residence will be open from 4 September 2013 to 12 January 2014. Discover more.
