doors 7.45pm, event at 8pm
The remodelling of the interior of the new museum is by John Pawson. If you are interested in finding out more about what inspires John Pawson you can hear him interviewed by Design Museum Director Deyan Sudjic this Tuesday at the Design Museum, Shad Thames. John Pawson will be reflecting on the work of Shiro Kuramata (1934-91), Japan's leading 20th-Century designer, and the profound influence Kuramata has had on his career.
The evening will conclude with an informal reception and book signing with Deyan Sudjic of his two-volume monograph on Shiro Kuramata, published by Phaidon, available to buy from the Design Museum Shop.
