Arrests as hundreds of police raid Soho in drugs and people trafficking blitz - Crime - News - London Evening Standard: "Dozens of people were arrested as police swooped on London’s seediest district in a blitz on drugs, prostitution and people trafficking last night.

More than 200 officers swooped on 22 brothels, three sex shops and two lap dancing clubs in Soho. The operation followed an intense 18-month undercover investigation.

Police believe organised criminal networks are behind everything from human trafficking and drug dealing to the sale of stolen goods at premises in the area – where people are 146 times more likely to be robbed than the rest of the UK."
