 F.E. Student Design Workshops exploring current exhibitions and professional practices
 
Great news - we are now able to offer FE tutors an extra 3 months to programme an exciting Paul Smith-inspired design workshop into their curricula.
This exclusive workshop, 'Surface Pattern Value,' has been specifically created for Level 3 vocational learners and is adaptable to students following Fashion, Graphics, Product and Spatial design pathways. It is now open for bookings every Friday during term time until20th June 2014 (inclusive). 

Also available:

Our regular workshop, 'The Idea Generation'is also available for bookings on a rolling basis, as a multi-disciplinary introduction to design thinking and collaboration.

In this 'Think-Tank' style event for Higher Education students, speakers will explore principles of the 'circular economy' and the role of innovative methodologies encompassing manufacturing, service design and business practice on promoting holistic value and lasting positive impact.
Students will have a chance to explore some of the wider contextual issues raised by theBarberOsgerby-curated In The Making exhibition with peers from across the country as well as hearing leading experts and practitioners. Find out more.

OPPORTUNITY: POSTER PRESENTATIONS
In the spirit of the In The Making exhibition, the Design Museum is inviting students attending the Industry Insights event to present a current project or ‘work in progress’ in a poster format intended to prompt a high level of succinct and creative communication. These will be curated as part of the event.
