Open-City - Westminster Abbey tour with Alan Stanton



Taking the ethos of ‘Sensing Spaces’ out into London we have been programming walks and tours embracing the idea of ‘Slow Architecture’. These tours, led by experts including Royal Academicians, offer unique opportunities to look afresh at the buildings and spaces around us.

Westminster Abbey with Alan Stanton RA - Saturday 22 March 10amJoin architect Alan Stanton of Stanton Williams Architects for a tour of Westminster Abbey, one of the most famous examples of Gothic architecture in the world. Dating back to 1042, the building has seen changes and additions over the centuries, starting life in Romanesque Style, rebuilt in Gothic style and most recently contributed to by Hawksmoor with Gothic Revival towers in the 18th century.
