Open City News - Limited edition Open House London Skyline Chess set for auction!






This year Open House have teamed up with Skyline Chess and D2W to produce a 3D-printed chess set depicting iconic buildings taking part in Open House London. The chess set is based on an original Staunton chess set, designed by architect Nathan Cook in 1849, which is based on elements taken from neoclassical architecture. Including The Leadenhall Building, 30 St Mary Axe, the London Eye, Lloyds of London and a Georgian house, the set is available in an online auction, the proceeds of which will go towards ensuring Open House London will remain free next year and in future years.
