Talk is more than just talk. Talk is also action. Words can hurt, organise killings and cover up crimes. But words can also heal, save and create.
To celebrate the UN’s International Day of Peace on 21 September, peacebuilding charity International Alert is launching the Talking Peace Festival, an exciting month of events across London to kick-start conversations about peace.
From photo exhibitions to pop-up restaurants and panel discussions to comedy nights, the city will be abuzz with people talking peace.
