| The Unite union has announced a 24-hour strike on London bus services. If the strike goes ahead, bus services will be affected between 00:01 and 23:59 on Tuesday 13 January – affecting services throughout Tuesday and night bus services into the early hours of Wednesday. London Bridge mainline rail station - From Monday 12 January, there will be long term National Rail service changes at London Bridge mainline rail station. This is while Network Rail rebuilds the station as part of the Thameslink Programme. London Bridge Tube and mainline rail stations will remain open. Some Tube and London Overground stations will be busier than usual, especially during peak hours while National Rail customers take alternative routes. Please allow more time for your journey. Special update about Canada Water station
Due to alterations to mainline train services at London Bridge which took effect last night, more National Rail customers are using Canada Water as an alternative. This may mean your services are significantly more crowded, particularly at the busiest times. Please allow more time for your journey and, if you can, consider avoiding Canada Water at the busiest times, particularly during the evening peak.
If your journey is affected by the Thameslink Programme work and you have a London Terminals season ticket, you may need to update your ticket to ensure that it is valid for travel on the Transport for London network. North Circular - From 22:00 on Friday until 05:30 on Monday 12 January, the A406 North Circular Road will be closed in both directions at the Fore Street Tunnel due to refurbishment work. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their normal destination with delays expected. A free shuttle bus will run between Edmonton Green bus station and Edmonton (Cambridge) roundabout from 11:00 until 19:00, to connect with buses to and from Muswell Hill and Brent Cross.
