Bank of England Museum





The Bank of England Museum tells the story of the Bank of England from its foundation in 1694 to its role today as the United Kingdom's central bank.

​Opening hours
Monday to Friday:​ 10.00am - 5.00pm (last entry 4.45pm).
24 & 31 December 2014: 10.00am - 1.00pm. 
Closed at weekends and Public Bank Holidays.
Admission is free. 
 

The Museum is generally open on the day of the Lord Mayor's Show in mid-November but please check the What's on guide for details as this could be subject to change.
