The Importance of Being Earnest
A comedy of manners and assumed identities, Oscar Wilde’s classic play The Importance of Being Earnest is revived for the stage at The Vaudeville Theatre. The play premiered in 1895 and met acclaim for its sharp dialogue, farcical plot and precise satire of the social conventions of Victorian London. The cast of familiar faces includes BAFTA winner David Suchet as Lady Bracknell.
