Chair of the Trustees Recruitment

We are recruiting a Chair for our Board of Trustees with the following skills: experience as a trustee, preferably as a Chair; thorough understanding of governance issues; a solid understanding of best financial practice in the voluntary sector; a good overview of the not-for-profit funding landscape; an understanding of the different ethoses of the sectors in which Rowan Arts operates (e.g. Arts, Heritage, Voluntary); a passion for Rowan Arts’ values.

Tufnell Park Hidden History -  from The Brecknock to The Boston Arms

Join Rowan Arts and Hilldrop Community Centre in uncovering the Hidden History of Tufnell Park. We are looking for volunteers to conduct archival research, oral history interviews, lead a walking tour of Tufnell Park and collect photographs and memorabilia for a new website about all things Tufnell Park. First World War Heritage Projects

Rowan Arts is working in partnership with Finsbury Park Trust and Holloway Neighbourhood Group to produce two First World War Heritage Projects - Soldier Painter Traitor Spy and Home and Away. We are looking for volunteers interested in getting involved; including archival research, using online databases, visiting museums such as the Imperial War Museum, and creating content for an exhibition and website. Training will be given.
