Science Museum - Step back in time at this month's Lates

Take a step back to the 30s, 40s and 50s at this month's Lates!
Wednesday 29 July, 18.45 - 22.00
Free entry
This month's Lates is inspired by our Churchill's Scientists exhibition which explores how science came to the aid of the British war effort. To celebrate this era and all its scientific achievements, we're inviting you to join us for a themed evening of live music and dancing, hands-on workshops and interactive shows, and a series of insightful talks and demonstrations. You'll have the chance to see many of Churchill's personal belongings, including the cigar he was smoking when he found out he was re-elected Prime Minister in 1951, and even his custom-made velvet siren suit - the first version of what we now call the 'onesie'. Feel free to get carried away with the theme - fancy dress is encouraged!

Alongside this are all the usual highlights of a silent disco, the Punk Science game show and our flight simulators.
