CAPTAIN LINNAEUS TRIPE: PHOTOGRAPHER OF INDIA AND BURMA, 1852 – 1860

See over 60 striking views of Indian and Burmese landscape, architecture and ancient and contemporary monuments. This exhibition presents the highlights of
#LinnaeusTripe’s output, alongside innovations such as his ground-breaking panoramic scroll of the Great Pagoda temple in Tanjore, a major technical achievement of pioneering 19th-century photography. Read more

VISIT THE WEDGWOOD MUSEUM

The Wedgwood Collection was recently saved following a public fundraising campaign led by the Art Fund with major support from the Heritage Lottery Fund. As one of the most important industrial and ceramics archives in the world, the Collection celebrates over 250 years of innovation. It was acquired by the Art Fund and gifted to the V&A, who have loaned it to the Wedgwood Museum on a long term basis.
