Held at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, there are twice-daily battles, with hundreds of knights, bowmen, and men-at-arms; full-contact jousting; falconry; music and dance; hundreds of craft stalls; hog roasts and real ales; a huge Kids' Kingdom; and much more medieval mayhem. Public camping is also available for those staying for the weekend, and the Glamping option will see you bed down in a luxurious bell tent.
