Rugby World Cup 2015
Rugby World Cup 2015 takes place until Saturday 31 October. There are 14 matches left across three London venues - The Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, Wembley Stadium and Twickenham Stadium.
The transport network serving Stratford will be busier than usual later today, Thursday. This is due to Rugby World Cup 2015, as well as an event taking place at The O2 tonight.
Tube and rail stations will be affected from 17:00 until 19:30 and from 21:40 until midnight. Buses in the area may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination. Certain roads will be closed, including Westfield Avenue from 18:00 and Montfitchet Road and Pool Street from 20:30.
On Saturday evening, another match will take place at Twickenham Stadium and on Sunday afternoon, a match will take place at Wembley Stadium.

Northwest London - Until early November, there will be southbound lane restrictions on Finchley Road between Frognal Lane and Langland Gardens for utility work. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination.
City of London - From Friday, Whitechapel High Street near Aldgate East station and surrounding roads, will be busy. This is due to Cycle Superhighway 2 works. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination. For more information, please click here
Central London - From 08:00 on Saturday until 18:00 on Sunday, the A40 Newgate Street will be closed in both directions, between King Edward Street and Warwick Lane. Additionally, both Warwick Lane and Ave Maria Lane are closed southbound during these times. This is due to crane operations. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination.
Twickenham - From 17:00 on Saturday, certain roads will be closed, including the A316 Chertsey Road between London Road and Hospital Bridge Road. This is due to Rugby World Cup 2015. Roads will be re-opened when it is safe to do so after the match has finished. Increased traffic in the area is expected for up to three hours following the end of the match. Bermondsey - From 18:00 on Saturday until 12:00 on Sunday, there will be a lane restriction on Jamaica Road. Southwark Park Road will be closed in both directions from 19:00 on Saturday until 01:30 on Sunday. The westbound bus lane on Jamaica Road will also be closed during these times, between Southwark Park Road and St. James’s Road. This is due to an event. Wembley - From 10:30 on Sunday, Engineers Way will be closed. The A406, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads surrounding the stadium are expected to be busy, due to Rugby World Cup 2015. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination. For more information, please click here
Purley - From 08:00 on Monday until mid-November, the A23 Purley Way at the junction of Foxley Lane will have temporary signals and lane restrictions in place from 21:30 until 06:00, due to works in the area. There will also be works on the pavement from 08:00 until 17:00. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination.
