High octane performance by renegade skaters on Somerset House ice rink
Watch the award-winning Canadian quintet, Le Patin Libre, carve up the ice on our iconic rink, with their unique blend of technical skating skill and high-octane style.
Challenging the conventions of traditional figure-skating, they draw influences from theatre, urban dance, tap and circus skills, pushing the boundaries of what is physically possible on ice.
For this specially commissioned performance, re-imagined for Somerset House, the renegade skaters are accompanied by electronic beats, and unique lighting design by Lucy Carter.
Please note this is an outdoor seated performance – so dress warmly. Running Time: 35 minutes.
