Film at the Whitechapel Gallery

From the Curator

The Whitechapel Gallery film programme over the next two months ranges across time, form, borders and themes but what might unite these very different screenings is perhaps a sense of reclaiming what has been overlooked, reminding us of what might have slipped from wider awareness.

You will find Aura Satz's exploration of bullet ballistics
and Andrea Zimmerman's homage to the street dogs of Istanbul, but we also mark key creative and historical anniversaries, from the deaths of Kieslowski and Brodsky to the centenary of the Irish Easter Rising and the annual celebration that is International Women's Day.

Something for everyone, as they say... We hope you can join us.
