Summer is here, so The Now Show team are signing off with two special programmes before the holidays.
Sunday 12 June sees the recording The Now Show: 1916, a non-topical show which will be part of the BBC season commemorating the events of 1916; from wartime humour and art to the politics and propaganda, Steve Punt, Hugh Dennis, and some special guests, will present a show that will be informative, funny, and a good degree more tasteful than the jokes told in the trenches. It will be broadcast on Thursday 30 June.
On Sunday19 June, we come right up to date with The Now Show: EU & Yours, a comic take on the referendum to be broadcast that very evening, just four days before polling stations open. Should we stay or should we go? We definitely won't be giving a definitive answer, but Steve Punt, Hugh Dennis, Jon Holmes, Mitch Benn and some special guests will be here to help you make up your mind.
Sunday 12 June The Now Show: 1916 Venue: BBC Radio Theatre Doors open: 6.45pm Recording starts: 7pm
Sunday 19 June The Now Show: EU & Yours Venue: BBC Radio Theatre Doors open: 12.45pm Recording starts: 1pm
