Weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 9-10 July. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you.

London Underground

We are undertaking a comprehensive improvement programme across London’s transport network, including the modernisation of the Tube.

For a map showing the planned line closures for this weekend and also bus replacement information, please click here

Northern line
There will be no service between Archway and High Barnet/Mill Hill East. This is to allow for track replacement work at Finchley Central.

London Overground

Tonight, Thursday, trains will not run after 22:30 between Hackney Downs and Chingford, due to Network Rail track work.

On Saturday and Sunday, there will be no service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction, due to Network Rail infrastructure and Earls Court Development work.

On Sunday, trains will not run between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction, due to Network Rail track work.

Until February 2017, there are closures on the Gospel Oak to Barking line as follows:
Trains will not run between South Tottenham and Barking for the entire period
At weekends, there will be no service between Gospel Oak and Barking
This is while Network Rail carry out major works to enable new, longer trains to run from 2018. For more information, please click here

From Monday 11 July, London Overground services may be busier than usual between the following stations:
Clapham Junction, Willesden Junction and Watford Junction
West Croydon/Crystal Palace and Canada Water

This is due to a temporary timetable in place on Southern services, which means that fewer Southern trains will run.

DLR

There will be no service between Bank/Tower Gateway and All Saints, Blackwall and Canary Wharf, due to track work.
