Peter Phillips returns to conduct the BBC Singers in a programme of English Renaissance polyphony featuring the works of three masters of the period: William Byrd, Robert White andWilliam Mundy. At the heart of the programme is Byrd's masterpiece Infelix Ego, paired with White's motet Exaudiat Te Dominus. The programme also explores works by the composers in four and six voices, and includes the Benedictus from Byrd's iconic Great Service.
