Weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 17-18 September. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you.

Tube strike
Some drivers on the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines who are RMT union members are currently planning to strike from 21:30 tonight, Thursday 15 September for 24 hours. If the strike goes ahead, there will be no Hammersmith & City line service from around 21:00 tonight, and all day tomorrow, Friday 16 September, and a very limited Circle line service during the same times. Please complete your journeys on these lines by 21:00 tonight.

All other services will run as normal but other Tube lines, particularly the District and Piccadilly lines, are expected to be busier as passengers seek alternative routes. Some roads in west and central London could also be busier than usual.

Please allow more time for your journeys and check before you travel by visiting tfl.gov.uk/tube-strike or follow @TfLTravelAlerts@TfLTrafficNews and @TfLBusAlerts on Twitter for the latest information.
