Chevalier de Saint-Georges, aka Joseph Bologne (1745 – 1799), was a champion fencer and virtuoso violinist and composer. Bologne was an acquaintance of the composer Mozart, and close friend and music companion of Marie Antoinette.

Join Anthea Godfrey, artistic director of the Embroiders Guild, who project managed the commission of what became known as the Hardhome Embroidery, for a discussion of the complexities of developing such an intricate piece.Read more and book
