Weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 5-6 November. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you. | |

| This weekend, there will be no service between the following stations: |
| • | Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction, for Earls Court development work and Network Rail infrastructure work |
| • | Romford and Upminster, for Crossrail and Network Rail infrastructure work |
|
On Sunday, trains will not run between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction, for Network Rail work.
|
| From Monday to Thursday, there will be no service between the following stations for Network Rail track work: |
| • | Sydenham and West Croydon, after 22:15 |
| • | Hackney Downs and Chingford, after 22:30 |
|
There is no service between Gospel Oak and Barking until February 2017. This is while Network Rail carry out major works to enable new, longer trains to run from 2018. For more information, please click here

On Saturday there will be no service between Chadwell Heath and Shenfield. On Sunday there will be no service on the entire line until noon and no service Stratford to Shenfield for the rest of the day. This is while Network Rail carry out track and station improvements as part of their Railway Upgrade Plan, as well as Crossrail construction work.

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed or stop short of their normal destination:
Highgate - Two-way temporary traffic lights are in place until the completion of work on Archway Road at the junction of Bakers Lane. This is to facilitate the repair of a blocked sewer.
Alexandra Palace - From 20:00 tonight, Thursday, until 07:00 Sunday, Alexandra Palace Way will be closed for an event. In addition, Buckingham Road will be closed between 21:30 and 22:30 on Friday and between 20:30 and 21:30 on Saturday. For more information, please visit tfl.gov.uk/weekend-travel
Central London - From 08:00 until 18:00 on Saturday, Regent Street will be closed in both directions between Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus. This is for an event. New Burlington Street will also be closed between 07:00 and 18:30.
Blackheath - From midday until 22:00 on Saturday, road closures will be in place in the area, including Charlton Way, Maze Hill, roads approaching the village, Montpelier Road/Vale, Mounts Pond Road, Prince Charles Road, Prince of Wales Road and Goffers Road. Central London - From midday until 17:00 on Saturday, roads will be busier than usual, including Upper Woburn Place, Tavistock Square, Woburn Place, Russell Square, Montague Street, Museum Street, Long Acre, St Martin’s Lane and Trafalgar Square. This is for a march.
Wembley - From 13:00 until 19:30 on Saturday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is due to an event.

Battersea - From 18:30 until 21:30 on Saturday, Albert Bridge and Albert Bridge Road will be closed in both directions, and Battersea Bridge Road will be closed between Parkgate Road and Prince of Wales Drive. Central and south London - From 07:00 until 12:30 on Sunday, roads will be busier than usual, including Constitution Hill, Birdcage Walk, Parliament Square, Westminster Bridge, Lambeth Palace Road, Lambeth Road and A23. This is for an event.
Central London - From 07:00 until midnight on Sunday night, Old Cavendish Street will be closed at the junction of Henrietta Place. Additionally, from 09:00 until 20:30 on Sunday, Oxford Street will be closed eastbound between Portman Street and Tottenham Court Road and westbound between Tottenham Court Road and Orchard Street.
