It's Red Noses at the ready as the conductor, comedian, actor and writer Rainer Hersch brings musical mayhem to Friday Night Is Music Night. As we prepare for this year's Comic Relief appeal - Rainer sets out to prove that classical music doesn't have to be serious.
Tonight's programme will feature the BBC Concert Orchestra and the London Voices with Rainer's own take on Pachelbel's Canon, the William Tell Overture; Leroy Anderson's The Typewriter and Leopold Mozart's Concerto for Hosepipe and String.
Ken Bruce will be on hand as master of ceremonies.
