the Design Museum - Snap your way through California: Designing Freedom

Spectacles by Snap Inc. land at the Design Museum

To coincide with the new exhibition California: Designing Freedom, a very special visitor has landed in the Design Museum’s atrium. For one week only, visitors will be able to purchase Spectacles by Snap Inc. from the Snapbot vending machine. The Design Museum will be one of the first locations outside of the USA to host the Snapbot vending machine and one of the few physical locations in London where Spectacles will be available for purchase.

Spectacles are the first piece of hardware by Snap Inc, parent company of popular camera messaging app Snapchat, and reinvent the way we can record and share memories. Spectacles are also featured as a key display inside California: Designing Freedom, an exhibition that charts counterculture from the 1960s to California’s tech culture today.
