Family Art Fun:
REVEAL festival
Join us to celebrate the opening of the V&A Exhibition Road Quarter, and the reopening of the Sackler Centre for arts education, with an exciting weekend of activities, trails and performances for the whole family.

All events are free and drop-in and recommended for ages 3+ (unless stated otherwise)

PERFORMANCE
Pop-up Performance: Welcome to Albertopolis
Saturday 1 July
11.00, 13.00 & 15.00 (duration 30 min)

Explore the new Sackler Courtyard as Chickenshed introduce you to the characters of Albertopolis. 

This performance is also taking place on Saturdays 8, 15, 22 July. BSL interpretation especially for families on Saturday 8 July.

Making Monumental Structures

Work with artist Matt Shaw and play with space and materials to create monumental structures.

Help to keep on building and inventing at the V&A by imagining the Museum in Minecraft. Design your own additions to the building by collaborating with other visitors in our Digital Studio.

Join us for creative workshops led by artists and families. View work created by pupils from three local primary schools inspired by the new Sackler Courtyard, part of this year’s Door to Design project.

Drop-in Design: Outrageous Outfits

Inspired by the Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion exhibition, search the Museum for unique fashions and accessories. 

Look for interesting shapes, lines, and colours and design a fashion piece to make your outfit more outrageous.
