With only two weeks until Film4 Summer Screen opens, have you chosen which film you'll be coming to? This year’s programme includes the UK premieres of 2017 Palme d’Or winner The Square and the upbeat, coming-of-age tale Patti Cake$; a nerve shredding double bill of Jaws and Deliverance; Hollywood classic The Philadelphia Story, starring Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn and James Stewart; British Asian road trip Bhaji on the Beach, penned by Meera Syal, and a special 50th anniversary screening of Antonioni’s cult thriller Blow-Up.

PERFUME EXTENDED

Meet the #perfumepioneers and watch our trailer
Due to popular demand we're extending our exhibition Perfume: A sensory journey through contemporary scent until 23 September. Described by the Guardian as "a revelation" and ES magazine's "must-see exhibition" of the summer, Perfume is a multi-sensory show featuring ten extraordinary perfumes and their pioneering creators, who have radically changed our perceptions of fragrance over the last 20 years. Look out too for our fully functioning Perfume Lab, with perfumers revealing up close the art and science of crafting a fragrance.

Returning to Somerset House for a sixth year, the World Illustration Awards Exhibition, in partnership with the Directory of Illustration, presents highlights from this year’s Association of Illustrators’ (AOI) annual competition. Original works on display include advertising and design, books and editorial, murals, posters and packaging.
