Bishopsgate Institute - What's On This November - Special Events, Talks and Social Dances

Bishopsgate Institute: Courses for Adults September to December 2015

This November

Photography, Parliament and Swing

We have a busy calendar this November with a special event on Wednesday 29 November celebrating women and photography, two talks during Parliament Week and the Swing Spectacular featuring a live set from Naomi and her Handsome Devils.

SPOTLIGHT: WOMEN AND PHOTOGRAPHY

Format Photographers Agency and Hackney Flashers
Our Special Collections and Archives team recently received landmark additions of material for the Format Photography Agency Archive. Format was set up as an agency in 1983 to support women photographers to represent issues, events and individuals who got very little coverage in the mainstream media. Format will be joined by The Hackney Flashers for a special event at the Institute on Wednesday 29 November.
