Christmas at Kew was one of the most magical Christmas experiences I’ve had.

One week to go...
Follow our sparkling trail of over one million twinkling lights, illuminating heritage trees and buildings through the Gardens.
Fairy-tale meets fantasy in a world of singing trees, larger-than-life flora, ribbons of light, giant baubles, and a flickering Fire Garden. The Palm House dazzles with jets of light and kaleidoscopic projections in the musical light show.
Sneak peak...
Every year the trail route changes with new light installations from artists and entertainment specialists. Amongst this year’s amazing creations will be:
Lightbench by Bernd Spiecker
How do you sit on light? Designed to look like a conventional park bench or seat, Bernard Spiecker’s benches glow and change colour from blue to green to yellow.
Sledgetree by Creatmosphere and Hellowood
Imagine an 11-metre design structure made from 365 illuminated wooden sledges to represent each day of the year. Sledgetree is an exceptional piece of art, light and architecture reinterpreting the classic Christmas tree.
VIP package
Give yourself an extra treat by booking the VIP package for Christmas at Kew. Gain exclusive access to the stunning Botanical restaurant before and after your walk around the trail and enjoy mulled wine, canapés and mince pies. Simply choose the VIP option when booking your tickets.
Child’s Play

Make a trip to the North Pole Village and see Father Christmas and his Elves, have a ride on the vintage fairground, enjoy a full children’s menu in the White Peaks café and indulge in sweet treats such as toasted marshmallows on the trail route! There’s so much to keep children entertained at Christmas at Kew.
