Science Museum - Explore our global war against antibiotic resistance. Superbugs opens tomorrow!

Superbugs: The Fight For Our Lives

Opens 9 November

Antibiotics have enabled us to combat diseases that were once untreatable. But bacteria have fought back, evolving into superbugs resistant to even the most powerful antibiotics.
Our new exhibition explores how society is responding to the enormous challenge of antibiotic resistance, featuring scientific research from across the globe and the personal stories of those waging war on the superbugs.

Skylark: Britain's First Pioneering Rocket

This small exhibition explores the history behind the rocket—from the scientists to the engineers who designed it.

Win the chance to host Tim Peake's Spacecraft!

Deadline for entry is Friday 1 December 2017

From September 2017, Tim Peake's Spacecraft will set off on a tour of the UK. Starting at the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, moving to York, County Durham, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast.
But there is one space on the tour that we've left open. Would you like to see Tim Peake's Spacecraft in your local museum or venue? This could be your chance. We are opening up the final spot on the tour to a public competition, which means you could have the chance to have Tim's Spacecraft in your town, city or village.
