Museum of London - What's on in February?

Votes for Women
This year we are commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the Representation of the People Act which gave some women in the UK the right to vote for the first time.

From 2 February our new Votes for Women display will explore the Suffragette movement and its legacy through remarkable personal artefacts and an evocative new film. Then over 3 and 4 February we’ll be marking the centenary with performances, creative writing, banner-making and surveillance photography workshops suitable for any ages but particularly those aged 10+.

Finally, you can join our monthly guided walk on 24 February to examine women’s changing roles in society at the start of the 20th century.
