All About London, Welcome To London! 9th September Come down to the river and party with us... Stages are going up, radios are squawking, people are wearing hi-vis all around me, it's definitely festival time!  We hope that you can make it down to join us this weekend.  The weather's looking better each time we check it, so best bring a brolly and some suncream just in case! Love from the Thames Festival team Barclaycard Stage We welcome Ghostpoet to his first post-Mercury London gig, there's a chance to see much-lauded Winehouse protégée Dionne Bromfield, as well as wonderful lyrics and beats from Afrikan Boy, ESKA, Rasites and many more - we've such a wide range of artists this year I can't begin to list their attributes here - please do head over to the Barclaycard Stage at Tate Modern Forecourt and check them out for yourselves. Bring those dancing shoes! Electro Swing Speakeasy From beatbox to Belleville, the brand-spanking new Speakeasy delivers the very best of 2011's fresh and versatile new musical sensation - the 1920`s to 1940`s remixed and rewound. The world's first pedal-powered punch machine, built by Circus Kinetika, will be fuelling the dance with Courvoisier punch. Potters Fields Park This lovely green space in the shadow of Tower Bridge is home to a whole host of Festival activity.  Firstly we have the Thames Water Blue Ribbon Village - our family-friendly river and environmental zone.  Also on the park  we have Cadbury Spots v Stripes Minute to Win It  game -  how much fun can you have in 60 seconds? And, last but by no means least, we have the ever-reliable Disco Shed, who will be keeping the park rocking right through till 10pm... Hosted river cruises... We still have a very limited number of tickets for our Sunday cruises with Rastamouse and Charlie Dark available...only £5 for an hour of fun and insightful entertainment on a paddle-steamer. What better way to see the river than a hosted journey...?
