The 26-year-old singer revealed her latest challenge after thrilling thousands of fans and shoppers who last night packed Oxford Street for the Christmas lights switch-on.

“I don’t like to say I can’t do anything so as soon as someone goes ‘you couldn’t run the marathon’ that’s it - it’s on my wish list.” she told the Standard.
“I’m not a runner. I’m friends with Ellie [Goulding] and she just puts me to shame. I definitely want to push myself.”

The singer, who grew up in Romford, gave crowds a taste of her electrifying show performing number one hit Price Tag and new single Thunder on the roof canopy of Selfridges.

She was joined on stage by teen sensation Conor Maynard and X Factor winner James Arthur.
