at the British Museum
Our special exhibition Defining beauty: the body in ancient Greek art is now open! The sculptures, bronzes and pots on display show the many different ways in which the ancient Greeks portrayed the human body. You can enjoy special events and activities inspired by the exhibition, including family trails, activities for under 5s and creative art workshops. The holiday is also the perfect time to come face to face with eight mummies in our interactive exhibition Ancient lives, new discoveries. Don’t forget under 16s go free to all exhibitions and kids eat free in the Gallery CafĂ©.
