Crossrail 'on time, on budget and coming soon'

London Mayor Boris Johnson says Crossrail tunnelling is now 60% complete.

Speaking to BBC London's Marc Ashdown (@marcashdown) he said there was only 750m (820yds) left to go and the dig was on schedule to complete "on time and on budget".

Crossrail will link east and west London via rail and includes 26 miles (41km) of underground tunnels. It is due to open in 2018.
