Spring holidays at the V&A Museum of Childhood
FAMILY FUN FOR THE SPRING HOLIDAYS Unfold a world of paper fun during the school holidays, with a range of creative things to do at the Museum of Childhood.
Don't miss our workshops for children aged 5 to 12. You can book now for Make Small Stories of Your Own, where children will create a picture book with award-winning author and illustrator David Lucas, or for Paper Lighthouse Workshopswith illustrator Frances Barry.
There will also be free drop in activities for all the family to enjoy from 28 March to 10 April. You can play with paper, build a cardboard city, dress up, listen to stories and lots more! Read more
SMALL STORIES AT HOME IN A DOLLS' HOUSE Until 6 September Take a peek behind closed doors in this fun, family exhibition, and discover the small stories of 12 of the Museum's most treasured dolls' houses. Listen in to tales of marriages and parties, politics and crime on a journey through 300 years of the history of the home. Read more
HIDDEN IDENTITIES UNFINISHED Until 28 June This display of photographs by Yvonne De Rosa examines the lives of children and families living under adverse conditions in Bosnia and Romania. The project is a result of a collaboration with Hope and Homes for Children, an international charity that works to prevent the breakdown of families. Read more
IT'S MY PARTY... Until 18 October We all have birthdays, but how we mark the passing years is very personal. Some people share an intimate gathering with a few friends or family, while others throw enormous parties. This display looks at children's parties from the perspective of both children and parents. The centrepiece is a life-sized installation telling the story of Wilfred, a shy resident of the Museum. Read more

HOMES OF THE HOMELESS SEEKING SHELTER IN VICTORIAN LONDON The Geffrye Museum of the Home 24 March - 12 July This exhibition tells the story of homelessness in Victorian London, exploring the places the poor inhabited and bringing them to life through paintings, photographs, objects and personal stories. ROALD DAHL'S THE TWITS Royal Court Theatre 7 April - 31 May The Twits are not very nice. They hold a family of monkeys hostage and force them to stand on their heads. We told you they weren’t nice. Roald Dahl’s The Twits is mischievously adapted by Enda Walsh and suitable for ages 8+. Read more
