The Merchant

HMS President 1918 offers panoramic London views from its mooring on Victoria Embankment. The boat was built in 1918 as a Flower-class submarine Q-ship and is now operated as a bar, restaurant and conference venue. The ship is situated within five minutes’ walk of Blackfriars and Temple Tube stations, while the South Bank is a short jaunt away over Waterloo Bridge. Visitors can enjoy views of St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Eye, OXO Tower and many other famous attractions.

The ship is equipped to host private dining for parties of between 15 and 350 and is available for conferences, weddings, civil partnerships, parties and other events. The Captain’s Quarters bar serves slap-up meals and a wide array of refreshments, which can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace.
