Museum of London - 400 years of Shakespeare and more this month

SHAKESPEARE IN LONDON
We're celebrating all things Shakespeare in March and April, with a variety of events and displays exploring the Bard's links to London. Shakespeare 400 is a city-wide celebration of 400 years of Shakespeare's legacy and the Museum of London is taking part! Join us for a walking tour with our expert guides, hop on a boat trip, Tour the Thames: Shakespeare's London, with our curators, see a new display, What's in a name?, and discover objects from Elizabethan theatres in an archive tour.
NEW THIS MONTH
FINAL WEEKS
The Crime Museum Uncovered is coming into its final weeks. Don't miss your chance to see the critically-acclaimed exhibition before it closes on 10 April. The exhibition will be open in the evening on 4 March and there are still tickets available for selected evening events including Crime forensics: fact and fiction (7 Mar).
UNDER 5S EVENTS  
Our programme of events for children under 5 continues with term time activities in March. JoinMini Moles and Little Moles hands-on creative sessions at the Museum of London and at theMuseum of London Docklands enjoy under 5s storytime.
LONDON WALKS
Join our expert guides for intriguing guided walks around London. Discover London's Gin Craze with Mother's Ruin, including a rewarding drink at the end of your walk, or delve into London's criminal past with Law and disorder in the East End. Our popular Roman London tour continues as well as a unique look at the Isle of Dogs.
LONDON'S NIGHT OWLS
Hunt the galleries by torchlight in this special after hours event for children at the Museum of London. Get involved with immersive and hands-on activities throughout the night exploring London’s history from the Romans to the Victorians before you curl up to sleep in the galleries!
BOOK AHEAD

Find out what might be next for this unique collection, as we look back on the ins and outs of curating the exhibition from the perspective of the museum and the Metropolitan Police. Hear all about the challenging themes, objects and cases and, for the first time, hear from all three of the curators involved.
Tattoo London: Art Macabre life drawing salonWed 4 May, 7-9.30pm
Sketch painted ladies and inked gents of London in a life drawing salon session led by Art Macabre. Draw the models' tattooed bodies, explore the traditions and tales behind their designs and experiment with what it’s like to draw your designs directly onto the models themselves!
