| Weekly travel update to help you get around London. This update covers the period between 5-15 August. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you.
Industrial action affecting Southern Railway The RMT union has announced industrial action from Monday 8 to Friday 12 August on Southern Railway. If this goes ahead Southern services are likely to be affected and some alternative services, including London Overground, may be busier than usual. On Saturday and Sunday, trains will not run between Hampstead/High Barnet/Mill Hill East and Charing Cross/Moorgate while we carry out track replacement work at Camden Town. |

There is currently no service between the following stations: |
| • | Highbury & Islington and Shadwell, due to Highbury Corner works and Crossrail construction work. Services will resume on Monday 8 August |
| • | Between Surrey Quays and New Cross, for Crossrail construction work. Services will resume on Saturday 6 August |
|
On Saturday and Sunday, trains will not run between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction, due to Thameslink and Network Rail infrastructure work.
From Monday until Thursday, there will be no service after 22:15 between Sydenham and West Croydon, due to Network Rail track work.

Until February 2017, there are closures on the Gospel Oak to Barking line as follows: |
| • | Trains will not run between South Tottenham and Barking for the entire period |
| • | At weekends, there will be no service between Gospel Oak and Barking |
This is while Network Rail carry out major works to enable new, longer trains to run from 2018. For more information, please click here

While we renew track, there will be no service as follows: |
| • | After 21:00 on Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday between Reeves Corner and Blackhorse Lane/New Addington |
| • | On Monday and Tuesday, between Reeves Corner and Sandilands |
| • | Wednesday until Monday 15 August, between East Croydon and Sandilands |

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed or stop short of their normal destination:
Great South West Road, Heathrow - From 20:00 on Friday until early September, there will be lane closures and a contraflow will be in place on Great South West Road between Hatton Road and Girling Way. This is for National Grid works.
Wembley - From 14:15 on Saturday until around midnight, and from 13:00 until 20:00 on Sunday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including the A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is due to events.
Tottenham - From 15:00 until 18:30 on Saturday, roads in the area may be busier than usual, including Gloucester Road, Phillip Lane and A10 High Road. This is for a demonstration.
Central London and Docklands - From 05:00 until 12:00 on Sunday, road closures will be in place including Byward Street, Upper and Lower Thames Street and Victoria Embankment. From 05:00 until 18:00, the Limehouse Link Tunnel and roads around the ExCel centre will be closed. This is for a sporting event. For more information, please click here
Central London - From 03:00 on Tuesday until 21:00 on Wednesday, Oxford Street will be closed in both directions between Tottenham Court Road and Regent Street. This is for a crane operation.
