Dippy the diplodocus set to be dismantled ahead of tour
A six-person team is expected to take three-and-a-half weeks dismantling one of the UK's most famous dinosaur skeletons from Thursday.
Dippy the diplodocus, a 70ft long (21.3m) plaster-cast sauropod replica made up of 292 bones, is set to leave the Natural History Museum in London later this year, ahead of a national tour.
