Your last chance to see the most revealing show of the year… On display are more than 200 examples of underwear for men and women, highlighting the enduring themes of innovation and luxury, from rare examples of home-made ‘stays’ worn by a working woman in England in the 18th century to pieces by designers including Agent Provocateur, Stella McCartney, Rigby & Peller and Paul Smith.

Lockwood Kipling: Arts and Crafts in the Punjab and London

Lockwood Kipling was a campaigner for the preservation of the Indian crafts, a craftsman whose terracotta panels can still be seen on the exterior of the V&A, and an illustrator of books by his son, the renowned writer Rudyard Kipling.

V&A Museum of Childhood

View work by one of East London’s most famous contemporary artists in an iconic east-end building. Rachel Whiteread’s Place (Village) is to go on permanent display at the V&A Museum of Childhood, consisting of 150 dolls' houses and inspired by Whiteread’s pilgrimages to the Museum during the formative years of her career.

New V&A Shop
Coming soon in spring 2017, we are excited to launch a new V&A Shop, even more functional and beautiful in design than before. The new shop will house a dedicated jewellery pavilion and a ‘pocket studio’, a curated space where product from selected designers and makers will be on display.
