This exciting new exhibition celebrates sounds associated with cities through a collection of stunning illustrations. Themes include lyrics and language; hubbub and stillness; heritage and science; wildlife and nightlife; transport and sport. Opens 19 May.

Family Fun: May half term and summer holidays |

Children can join the Museum’s resident dancer on an imaginative adventure across London in May half term. Using props they can recreate urban noises and after the workshop they can explore the exhibition to try to find the same sounds. During the summer holidays families can enjoy our Illustration and Storytime weekend on 22 and 23 July and Junk Music workshops from 19 August to 3 September.
