2018 marks 100 years since the death of the Romanov family, the last imperial monarchs of Russia. Rulers of a sixth of the surface of the earth, their lives glittered with unimaginable wealth and power.
In this new exhibition, we explore the lives of Tsar Nicholas II and his family, the mysterious circumstances of their death, and medicine in Russia at the time.
From the Tsar's son Alexei's Haemophilia B, a rare blood condition passed down from Queen Victoria, to the infamous mystic Rasputin, we'll take you behind closed doors to explore what life was really like for this famous royal family.
