Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 12 and 13 January, and the following week.
Most of the network will be open with services running as normal so you’ll be able to get wherever you need to go, but please check if any of the following affect you. | |

On Saturday 12 January, there will be an amended timetable between Gospel Oak and Barking. Trains will run every 15 to 30 minutes.
On Sunday 13 January, there will be an amended timetable between Gospel Oak and South Tottenham until 15:30. Trains will run every 15 to 30 minutes. After 15:30, trains will run every 30 minutes between Gospel Oak and Barking.

A reduced weekend service will continue on this route until further notice due to a lack of available trains. We will continue to run a full timetable on the busier weekday service.
On Sunday 13 January, there will be no service between South Tottenham and Barking until 15:30. This is due to Network Rail track work. Use Victoria line or local bus services between Seven Sisters (for South Tottenham) and Walthamstow Central. Rail replacement buses will run between Walthamstow Central and Barking.

From Monday 14 until Thursday 17 January, there will be no service between: |
| • | Sydenham and West Croydon after 22:15 each evening. This is due to Network Rail track work. Use Southern trains between Sydenham and Norwood Junction. Rail replacement buses will run between Norwood Junction and West Croydon |
| • | Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:30 each evening. This is due to Network Rail track work. Rail replacement buses will run |

On Saturday 12 January after 21:00, there will be a reduced service between Paddington and Hayes & Harlington. Trains will run every 30 minutes and will not stop at Acton Main Line. This is due to Crossrail work.

On Sunday 13 January, there will be no service between: |
| • | Paddington and Heathrow until 06:30. This is due to Crossrail work |
| • | Liverpool Street and Romford. This is due to overhead line extension renewal and track work. Rail replacement buses will run from Stratford bus station to Romford |

Bus and road users may be affected by the following changes this weekend. We expect to run a good service, but buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination.
Westminster – From 12:00 until 15:30 on Saturday 12 January, there will be a march from Portland Place to Parliament Square via Langham Place, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Haymarket, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall. The form up area outside the BBC will be closed, and the Metropolitan Police will enforce traffic holds along the route. Bus routes 3, 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, 19, 22, 38, 55, 73, 88, 94, 98, 113, 139, 159, 390, 453 and C2 will be diverted from 12:00 to avoid intersecting with the march route.
Westminster – From 16:00 until 21:00 on Tuesday 15 January, Parliament Square and Abingdon Street will be closed. Bus routes 3, 87, 148 and 211 will be diverted during this time. This is due to a demonstration.
Denmark Hill – Until 17:00 on Wednesday 27 February, there will be lane restrictions between Orpheus Street and Ashworth Close. This is due to building works.

| • | Upper Richmond Road, East Putney, due to building works |
| • | Whiteley’s, Bayswater, due to building works |
| • | Appold Street, Liverpool Street, due to site relocation |
| • | Portugal Street, Holborn, due to building works |
