Excavation of Shakespearean-era 'theatre-pub' begins   We are excavating the remains of the Boar’s Head Playhouse, a Shakespearean-era 'theatre-pub' in Whitechapel! Already, we have found the foundations of walls used as galleries which once overlooked the yard.
