Honey, honey 15 Years of Fortnum’s Bee Hives Our famous store at 181 Piccadilly has always been a hive of activity but there’s a particular buzz at the summit of its handsome Georgian facade: our rooftop bee hives. Crowning our home are some very busy bees, who each year produce a single, highly sought-after honey harvest. While we've been selling honey since our earliest days, it wasn’t until 2009 that we installed bee hives on top our Piccadilly roof and started harvesting our own pots of this naturally sweet wonder food. Today, we have hives across five of London's most famous rooftops, including the Royal Albert Hall and Somerset House. So with spring in bloom, join us as we invite you to a Playground of Delicious Discovery, where a world of glorious, drizzly honey awaits.
