The Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition opens today.
See our environment with new eyes and be inspired by the world's most prestigious showcase of wildlife photography. This exhibition celebrates the beauty and magnificence of the natural world, from fascinating animal behaviour to breathtaking wild landscapes.
With more than 48,000 entries from amateur and professional photographers across 98 countries, Buckinghamshire local Owen Hearn proved to be a high-flier when he was hailed as the Veolia Environnement Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year. His image, Flight paths, features a red kite mirroring a distant plane and was taken at his grandparents' farm in Stewkley.
Don't miss Owen's winning photograph among the 100 spectacular photographs at the Museum until 10 March 2013.
