Nature Base - Become a nature explorer and discover how to find and identify wildlife living in and around our city, while meeting some animals who live right here in the Museum.

See thousands of real live Honey Bees in their special hive, and Britain’s smallest rodent, the Harvest Mouse.  Look up close at the wings of insects using our video-microscope and discover what a Moles fur feels like. Listen to the calls that some animals make at night.

There are lots of things to see, hear and do in Nature Base. 

Remember: be gentle and respectful when you handle museum objects as well as when you are exploring wildlife outside.
